On an early Sunday morning in early March, when both day and season begin the reach from darkness into lightness, a bright spirit burst forth from my womb. When a sun births itself, all drishti (vision and attention), is collected into a powerful bindu point of life.

This particular sun arrived with gusto, one arm thrust up towards the sky, legs immediately finding “Tip Toe” yoga pose – Samatvam Asana. Appropriate for a son born of a yoga teacher who consistently practiced and taught until 2 days before his birth. And ironic, for there is no tip-toeing around this immediately-aware force of life.

“Alert.” “Curious.”  “Bright-eyed.” “Beautiful.”

These were words falling off all tongues catching his light.

And so, with this new profound life meditation I take a short pause from cyberspace and focus on the big creation now existing beside me.
